| Our Philosophy |
The Mangalarga Marchador is the
National Horse of Brazil, with over
400,000 registered horses. It is of
Iberian descent with a heritage in
Brazil. When the King of Portugal fled
to Brazil from the Napoleon invasion,
he took his most prized Alter Real
Lusitano stallions. One of those
stallions, most often referred to as
Sublime, was then selectively bred with
local mares consisting of Spanish
Jennets, Spanish Barbs, Criollos, and
Andalusians

| At Marchadors InMotion our passion is fueled by the exceptionally kind temperament, but more so by, the incredibly smooth ride of the Mangalarga Marchador. Our vision is to consistently breed quality, naturally gaited Marchadors. We are specially geared toward breeding for gait as well as for the development of a gaited training center exclusively devoted to the Mangalarga Marchador. Hence the name, Marchadors InMotion! At the same time, we serve to educate the public about the breed through shows and expos that portray the true versatility of the Mangalarga Marchador horse. At Marchadors InMotion, we feel that to attempt to explain a Marchador to a person who has not personally experienced the breed and its exceptional characteristics is to risk being perceived as if one is overrating the breed. It is for this reason that we invite you to personally meet the Mangalarga Marchador horses of Marchadors InMotion. We accept visitors by appointment only. |
